I require this information for the following reasons:

My website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave my site, you should note that I do not have any control over other websites. Therefore, I cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites. It should be noted that such sites are not governed by this privacy policy. You should exercise caution and view the privacy policy applicable to the website in question.

My website does not host adverts or sponsored links. If you see adverts or sponsored links on my website, this may be due to issues with your device or issues that I are not aware of or that are out of my control. Please let me know if you see any adverts or sponsored links on my website (adverts@peterbellmusic.co.uk).

I use a service called ‘reCAPTCHA’ to block automated bots from commenting on my website, by making all visitors fill in a CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart). When you fill in a CAPTCHA on my website, the only data transferred to reCAPTCHA is the string you enter into the appropriate CAPTCHA box, who will then inform my website whether the string is correct or not. No other data is transmitted to them. This service is provided by Google Inc. Their privacy policy can be viewed at http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/
